From One to One Million: A Journey of Impact

When our organization began, it started with a simple but powerful belief: that access to education in the arts, sciences, literature and humanities shouldn’t be a privilege — it should be a universal right. We believed that learning has the power to connect people, spark innovation, build empathy, and transform lives. What began as a single lecture shared with a few dozen curious minds has, over time, grown into something far greater than we could have imagined. Today, more than one million people have been impacted around the world, and we are not stopping there. With our continued efforts, we hope to bring education to billions.

A Mission Rooted in Equity

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to equity. Too many communities—whether because of geography, income, language, or lack of infrastructure—have limited access to high-quality educational resources. That gap not only limits individual potential, but also slows progress in communities and societies at large.

We believed early on that if we could harness the power of technology and the generosity of people who have more to uplift those who have less, we could begin to close that gap. We didn’t need fancy campuses or massive budgets—we needed passionate educators, accessible platforms, and a community willing to learn and share.

Expanding Access through Online Learning

Our first major turning point came when we launched educational content online. With a focus on arts, sciences, literature and humanities, we offered everything from short video lectures to long-form lesson plans and weekly live Q&A sessions.

One of our earliest educational lectures —“Science of Intention,” which combined elements of quantum theory and the behavior of electromagnetic radiation—was viewed over 100,000 times in its first year. We heard from teachers in East Asia using it to inspire their students, coaches in Brazil engaging their clients in deeper learning, and a retired librarian in Michigan who used the course to start a community discussion group.

We quickly realized that our reach could extend far beyond what we had imagined. With every new course, webinar or event, we weren’t just sharing knowledge—we were building connections.

Learning Without Borders

In the years that followed, we expanded our programs to include live international events and lectures. Partnering with local universities, we hosted lectures on new and contemporary topics which were translated into multiple languages. Topics ranged from “The Ethics of Virtues” to “Storytelling Across Cultures,” and drew audiences from over 60 countries.

One memorable event was our 3-day One Night for One Drop event, held in Las Vegas, Nevada,  in 2019. Structuring a multi-lecture event around Cirque Du Soleil’s One Night for One Drop charity gala, with all of our participants attending the gala and sitting front-row and inside the private boxes in the renowned O Theater inside the Bellagio property on the Strip, the Amaret Foundation alone was able to raise and contribute half a million dollars to Cirque Du Soleil’s efforts for water conservation and water education.

From panel discussions to scientific discovery lectures, this 3-day event was a celebration of the shared human experience—reminding us that across all differences, our questions, hopes, and dreams often mirror each other.

One Million — and Still Growing

In 2024, we officially surpassed the milestone of one million people reached through our collective programs—online and in-person, formal and informal. It’s a number we’re incredibly proud of, but what matters most isn’t the number itself. It’s the individual stories behind it.

Like Akash, a Pakistani refugee who joined our online philosophy course while living in a temporary shelter in Turkey. He later wrote to us saying it helped him rediscover a sense of purpose during a time of uncertainty.

Or Henry, a middle school teacher in South Africa, who adapted one of our science lectures into a solar-powered science fair for students who had never seen through a telescope before.

Or the grandmother in Austria, who attended our live event on the psychology of the human mind said it inspired her to finally start a small gallery in her hometown.

Looking Ahead

One million is just the beginning. As we look to the future, we remain committed to growing in both depth and reach. We're investing in tools that make our programs even more accessible to people with disabilities. We're expanding our partnerships with educators, speakers, artists and thought leaders around the world to ensure that our support reflects a diverse range of voices and experiences.

We’re also committed to supporting technological advancement, with a focus on Virtual Reality classrooms, Augmented Reality learning and Artificial Intelligence medical innovation to assist and augment the individual.

Most importantly, as we look to the future, we’re listening. Every story shared, every idea offered, every need expressed by our global community helps shape our path forward.
