This Privacy Policy describes how Amaret Foundation (the "Site", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or use amaretfoundation.org (the "Site") or otherwise communicate with us regarding the Site (collectively, the "Services"). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "you" and "your" means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a website visitor, a scholarship applicant, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Site, update the "Last updated" date and take any other steps required by applicable law.

What Personal Information We Collect

The Site is a static, informational website. We do not operate a store, we do not sell products or services, and we do not offer user accounts. The personal information we collect is limited to the following.

Information You Provide Directly

• Scholarship application information, including your name, email address, the subject line and the message you choose to submit through our scholarship application form.
• Communication information, including any information you choose to include when you contact us by email at donate@amaretfoundation.org.

You may elect not to provide this information, but doing so will prevent you from applying for a scholarship or corresponding with us.

Information Collected Automatically

Our hosting provider, Vercel, maintains standard server logs when you visit the Site. These logs may include your IP address, browser and device information, and information about your network connection and how you access the Site. We do not use analytics services, advertising partners, tracking pixels, or marketing cookies, and the Site does not set cookies.

Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from service providers who support the Site, such as Formspree (which processes scholarship form submissions and forwards them to us by email) and Vercel (which hosts the Site). Any information we obtain from third parties will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Also see the section below, Third Party Websites and Links.

How We Use Your Personal Information

• Reviewing scholarship applications. We use the information you submit through the scholarship application form to review, evaluate and respond to your application.
• Communicating with you. We use your personal information to respond to your inquiries and provide effective services to you. This is in our legitimate interests in order to be responsive to you.
• Security and fraud prevention. We use your personal information to detect, investigate or take action regarding possible fraudulent, illegal or malicious activity.
• Legal compliance. We may use your information to comply with applicable legal obligations, enforce any applicable terms, and protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.

Cookies and Tracking

The Site does not set cookies and does not use tracking technologies. We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks, or social media pixels. Fonts and other assets are served directly from the Site rather than from third-party services.

Because we do not sell or share personal information and do not engage in targeted advertising, there is no tracking activity to opt out of. If you visit the Site with the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal enabled, no action is required on your part; we treat every visitor the same way by default. We Do Not Sell or Share Personal Information

The Amaret Foundation does not sell personal information, does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, and does not use personal information for targeted advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months, and we have no actual knowledge of any sale or sharing of personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

Third Party Websites and Links

Our Site may provide links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies and other terms and conditions. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites. Our inclusion of such links does not, by itself, imply any endorsement of the content on such platforms or of their owners or operators, except as disclosed on the Services.

Children's Data

The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children.
